Healthy Solutions® 6000

Quite simply the best mould and algae remover on the market, HS® 6000 acts by killing the mould and algae growth to the roots, rather than just the head. In doing so it delays re-growth of the mould and algae on the affected areas compared to all other competitors products on the market.

The length of the period before re-growth is a function of the conditions present. The more humid and damp the area, the more quickly it will grow back. But we can guarantee that the period before re-growth will always be longer after a proper treatment of HS® 6000.

Being a Dangerous Good (Corrosive 8) and a bleach (the active ingredient is Sodium Hypochlorite), it must be handled carefully in its concentrated form. However, as soon as it is diluted 1:1 with water it becomes totally harmless to the environment.

Although primarily for use on hard surfaces outdoors, it is possible to use it indoors also. It has been successfully used on the following areas:

• The War Memorial in Canberra has used it to remove mould from the indoor walls;
• Parliament House in Canberra has used it to remove mould and algae from their synthetic grass tennis courts and the marble tiles surrounding them with amazing results;
• Air conditioning control rooms in Singapore have been had the mould and algae removed;
• Concrete areas, including driveways, pathways, and car parks;
• Terracotta tiles and roof tile in general (be careful though as the HS® 6000 can leave the tiles very slippery prior to drying);
• Sandstone surfaces;
• Bathrooms (although we would recommend using HS® 2000 afterwards to remove the odour associated with HS® 6000);
• Tiles on patios;
• Outside walls (including painted walls);
• Canvas, including tents, sails, and umbrellas (test it first to ensure that the colour does not run);

HS® 6000 has a very strong bleach odour that can linger, especially if used indoors. A simple solution to eliminate this unpleasant odour is to fog the area with HS® 2000 after application. This will leave the area with no odour whatsoever.

Healthy Solutions® 6000 was applied to a sandstone segment in the new Parliament House gardens. The sandstone had been imported from South Australia and was of extreme quality. The sandstone was covered in mould. After treatment with HS® 6000 the mould and algae was removed from the sandstone and the results were dramatic:
