Bio Defense ® 2700 - Wool Carpet Protector

Bio Defense® 2700 is for any carpet that contains any percentage of wool fibres. The mix does not matter. As long as it contains wool fibres, Bio Defense® 2700 should be used as the protector. It has a quadruple action guaranteed for ten (10) years subject to certain stipulations and regulations.

Once properly applied, the protector provides at least the following five (5) main benefits:

• Anti-microbial properties;
• UV inhibiting properties;
• Extended wear;
• Stain release properties; and
• Anti-static properties.

This is not a complete list of the benefits of the protector. The active ingredient in this protector, as well as for the other polymer products, is RS 1957. Once the protector is dried and cured, it destroys mould and bacteria immediately once they come in contact with the protector. In order to stop the dead cells and dirt building up over the protector, normal cleaning procedures need to be maintained. Also, the guarantee remains in place only if the carpet is thoroughly cleaned using Healthy Solution® 2000 at least once a year.

The protector is non-toxic and contains no harmful substances or fluoro-chemicals. Unlike some other protectors on the market, our protector also does not come off with touch or friction. Hence why we can give a guarantee of ten (10) years.
