The Company was established in 1978 by John Morgan with the aim to provide the highest quality cleaning service in the Canberra region.
The company was originally called “MOJO Cleaning Services” but was soon changed to John Morgan services.
John was originally outsourcing the carpet cleaning of his commercial general cleaning contracts to other carpet cleaning sub contractors, until he decided to start taking it on himself. After investing countless amounts of time and money in the research and development of the carpet cleaning, john eventually became one of Canberra's most reputable and reliable carpet cleaners and changed the name to Morgans Carpet Cleaning in 1980.
In 1989 John decided to extend his services to accommodate fire and flood restoration due to a growing demand. With staff attending courses on a regular basis Morgan’s managed to also become Canberra's most reputable and reliable insurance restorer.
Extra services such as window cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, carpet repairs and installation, post construction cleaning and forensic cleaning were all implemented due to a high demand from consumers in need of a reliable company to service there cleaning and restoration needs.
The general cleaning division kept on growing too, and as a result of the success of all the individual services, Morgans Carpet Cleaning changed it’s name once again to Morgans Group in 2002.

For over 30years, Morgans Group has been a company that has had the privilige of increasing it\\\'s turnover year after year, This increased turnover has enabled the company's carpet cleaning and restoration division to expand to 9 truck mount machines and vans, 9 fully trained and qualified carpet cleaners, 2 full time water restoration techs, 2 full time fire restoration techs, 2 qualified full time carpet layer's, and an operations Manager.
The general cleaning division consists of approx 52 casual employees, 6 full time laborers, 2 full time area managers, 2 full time window cleaners, and a General Manager.
In order to support the operations side of the business, we have an office consisting of an administration staff of 5 full time and 2 part time employees.
Our business consists of a total of 83 employees, a fleet of 22 Vehicles, a 1000m2 warehouse with a 300sqm office, the type of infestructure that will see us continue to deliver the same service and contuinue to grow for years to come.
Morgan's Group has established an excellent reputation in the local market. . Marketing continues to be constant, mainly by multi media presence such as television, radio and occasional Newspaper, backed up with yellow pages to keep the name familiar and reinforcing household recognition. Increased exposure on the radio occurs in researched target periods for maximum business opportunities.
Another very strong marketing tool is the leadership and development of the culture of the organisation and the attitude of employees to service delivery and professionalism.
Appearance and presentation of staff provides for positive word of mouth advertising and recommendation. As well as the excellent presentation of the Morgan's Group personnel, the vehicles and machinery are also immaculately presented and maintained to again reinforce the image of professionalism.Morgan's Group continues to look for new opportunities to expand the business but does so, mindful of innovations in the industry and best practice. The highest priority for this organisation is to continue to achieve highly and increase market share.
